Short-Term Running Goals:

Hoping to re-qualify for Boston sometime in 2011.  Hoping to hit marathon #10 in 2011.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run 100 marathons in my lifetime and live to tell the tale.

Personal:

Married.  2 daughters.  Have a love/hate relationship with running.  Hate the first 3 miles of EVERY run without fail and grumble the whole time.  Feel okay during 3-6.  Love 6+ and LOVE how I feel when I am done (like I can take on the world and then some!).

Man cath, 12? I've never tried past a 5. I saw this ad the other night for a treadmill that has a tv screen that shows street running all over the world and makes the inclines according to the grade of the road (San Francisco, Paris). I'm not into virtual reality, but that would be awesome! Only I love my wood deck Nordictrac too much. I'd never get another kind of treadmill, I just want the program.

Its really not as cool as it sounds. I just increase the grade by .5 every minute and so I only do the 12.0 for one minute and my total workout is only like 25 minutes. I do like the sound of that virtual reality program though--like Flight Simulator for pilots except Treadmill Simulator for runners--does it come with a DVD package so you can load it on your treadmill and view the sites you are walking past? That is what I would really want :).
